Rheumatoid Arthritis, Organizing pneumonia
Shakti Sharma came to me with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Organizing pneumonia (OP), a rare type of inflammatory interstitial lung disease (ILD) that affects the small airways (bronchioles) and the tiny air sacs (alveoli). Despite containing the word “pneumonia,” it is not an infection and cannot be treated with standard antibiotics. It is an abnormal healing response where the lungs fill with buds of inflammatory granulation tissue (known as Masson bodies) following an epithelial injury.
The pain of her RA, the breathlessness with her lungs created a helpless and emotionally defeating environment for her. She would feel upset and angry often. As we began treatment, she understood the connect between physical and emotional nutrition, and her mental health improved, her moods began to become more positive and gratitude for her loved ones grew. Her energy increased, and from just being homebound or going around the city, she wanted to start travelling out with her newfound, freedom and strength. Six months after my treatment, they planned to trip to Singapore.

The strength returned
“The biggest joy for me was realizing how much stronger I’ve become. I enjoyed every ride at Universal Studios, and some of them I even went on two or three times with full energy! It made me feel incredibly grateful and reminded me how much progress I’ve made under your guidance.”
Aradhna’s yoga helped me
“I genuinely enjoyed enjoyed the twice a week classes with rehab yoga therapist Aradhna Chhachhi, who’s calming sessions helped release my fatigue.”
my family’s support made me get through it
“My husband, my daughter, my father were all rooting for me and encouraging words and support helped me progress in my journey guided by you.”

“From the bottom of my heart, thank you Dr Rachna, for your constant support, guidance, patience, and the love and care you’ve shown me throughout this journey. Your guidance has played a significant role in helping me become healthier, stronger, and more confident, and I will always be grateful for that.”
“Thank you for believing in me and supporting me every step of the way.”
