Trauma Release

We heal when we release our past traumas. This can be done when we let go of our subconscious traumas through conscious expression. As part of your journey of recovery, we focus on the below programmes to help you move forward:

Trauma Writing: Trauma writing is a therapeutic method to process difficult experiences and helps improve health and well-being. Writing about trauma reduces stress, enhances immunity, and eases emotional stress. Through her own experiences in writing about trauma across five books, Dr Rachna Chhachhi takes Trauma Writing Group Classes for those who have been through chronic conditions like cancer, autoimmune, body image issues, mental health issues and extreme pain. Through the process of releasing trauma via a structured and step-by-step approach, these classes help you move forward in your journey of healing. It is different from journalling because the emotionally overwhelmed person in journalling is sometimes unable to put their thoughts to paper as they feel overwhelmed. When they are prompted and guided through this class, over a few weeks, they start pouring out the subconscious trauma they thought they never had. Our brain is 10% conscious and 90% subconscious as per medical science. The trauma writing classes have the iceberg effect – they go to the 90% and help release past traumas over a period of time.

As you grow and leave your past traumas behind, you will also be able to write or talk about your traumas without breaking down. This therapeutic process can take a few months to a couple of years depending on how far back the trauma was – in many people, it starts with childhood. Attending and participating in these classes will help you move from victim mode to thriver mode – you will begin to regain control of your mind, body and emotional health.

“When I first wrote about my emotional triggers that caused my rheumatoid arthritis, I cried,” shares Dr Rachna. “But as I wrote, again and again in every book, and spoke about it in every public session, I channelised the writing in a structured manner, and began releasing my hidden subconscious triggers. Today, I am able to look back and feel grateful that I could use the medium of writing my story. It helped me let go. And sharing it with others helped others understand that healing is possible.”
